The Project Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) chart is a project or a business management tool that provides a graphical illustration of a project’s timeline. As shown in the image below, a PERT chart of business management breaks down the individual tasks of a project for analysis. A business management PERT chart template helps a project manager analyze a business’s tasks and estimate the amount of time required to complete each task in the project. Using the correct information, the project manager can estimate the minimum amount of time needed to complete the entire project. As shown in the diagram, business management PERT charts use rectangles called nodes to represent project events or milestones.
