Free emotion flashcards are extremely useful to teach the students about basic human emotions. Flashcards are small note cards used for testing and improving memory through practiced information retrieval. As shown in the diagram, flashcards are typically two-sided, with the prompt on one side and the information about the prompt on the other side. As the emotion flashcard suggests, they are useful for teaching preschoolers or special children to identify their feelings, using different words to express them, or helping them recognize and understand human emotions. Human flashcards can sometimes be over complicated and confuse a child about what they are trying to convey. If a character’s expression is too similar to the character before, it might not be clear what emotion flashcards represent.
