In architectural engineering, a warehouse floor plan may be used in general to describe any drawing showing the physical layout of the room and the objects placed inside it. A warehouse floor plan is a measured drawing to scale the layout of a floor in a building. As shown in the diagram, a warehouse floor plan diagram could show interior walls, highways, restrooms, windows, doors, warehouse appliances such as refrigerators and water heaters, interior features, and the adjacent working areas. The warehouse floor plan can be defined as a virtual model of a building floor plan, and it allows a greater appreciation of scale than with the traditional 2D floor plans.
