Manufacturing production involves using production lines such as in a car manufacturer where doors, engines, bonnets, and wheels are added to a chassis as it moves along the assembly line. It should be noted here that Flow production involves a continuous movement of items through the production process. It means that if one task is finished, the next task must start immediately. The flowchart for the manufacturing process starts with selecting a batch number for the label. As the diagram suggests, at each weight station, the operator selects a control recipe to execute. This is followed by the selection that can be automatic, sequential, manual, or by scanning a raw material label. After the BOM is selected, the line loads the appropriate quantity, setpoint, and tolerance.
