Miller-Mize Precast, Inc. (MMPI) production flow chart shows the long-descriptive process of the precast production process. As the below flow chart suggests, MMPI submits a bid on a customer job through a written MMPI quotation followed by the customer agrees on the job scope and price provided by the written MMPI quotation. The customer then awards MMPI with a precast job by signing the MMPI Quotation and later sends the purchase order (PO) to MMPI. MMPI sends color samples for customer approval and precast production process flow in the follow-up step to help set process and timeline expectations. In the later stages, MMPI reviews and signs the Customer purchase order to see if there are any changes required or not. The precast incorporation then sends architectural and structural drawings to Detailing & Engineering (D&E) to produce shop drawings.
