All ATM machines are connected to a server to process transactions. The ATM Network connects to the cloud, as do all of the entities involved in a transaction. The internal bank network is connected to the cloud and pushes account information updates to an ATM Outsource Network Provider. It should be noted here that when an ATM initiates a transaction, the ATM Outsource Network Provider handles the verification of the card and PIN, if used, that sufficient funds are available for the requested transaction.
