What is a 12V Power Supply?
12V power supply is a linear power supply that constantly provided the 12V at the output in the input voltage is 12V and above. This is a linear power supply so the LM7812 voltage regulator IC may get hot so uses a heat sink with it to protect it. The input voltage must be between 12V to 30V.
