This is a sequence chart example where a story is divided into different parts and students need to fill in the spaces chronologically. There are nine boxes connected with arrows showing the linear sequence of events. Some of the boxes are pre-filled in and students have to fill in the rest according to the story they have been taught. The answers are available in separate boxes at the bottom and students need to choose which answer will go in which space depending on the timeline of their text. This is a good exercise to test how much students know about the story as they will have to recall how the story unfolds gradually over time.
