The sentence formation tree map graphic organizer can be used with kids when they are still learning to form sentences. Teachers can choose an item or a subject and enter the same in the top box. Kids can then be asked to create sentences by connecting the subject with three different verbs, Can, Have, and Are.
The sentences they create can be written in the lines available below the verbs. Sentences with “Can” should be entered in the space below the verb, and so on. The non-fiction tree map is an excellent learning tool as it makes the process fun and interesting for the kids. The students can also mention their names at the top of the organizer before they start forming sentences.
