This is a poster introducing Bali Rai. Jennifer Luithlen, a literary agency, agreed to represent Bali Rai after seeing excerpts from his debut novel, (Un)arranged Marriage. Rai secured a deal with Transworld after the work had been edited. The novel was critically acclaimed when it was released in 2001.
