What we have here is a flow chart depicting argumentative writing. Before writing an essay, the individual can brainstorm and pen down his or her ideas in this type of flow chart. In the box provided at the top of the diagram, one can write their thesis statement or the claim they are making. Next, there are three horizontal bubbles to write the reason or supporting details behind the claim. Each reason bubble has two vertical drop bubbles wherein an individual can mention the evidence supporting their claim. In the third section, one needs to make at least one counter-claim and a rebuttal in the space provided for it.
