Describing a scientific process is nowhere near easy. But a scientific process flow diagram can make it an easy process through a proper graphical description in a diagram. A scientific process flow diagram involves quite a number of signs, symbols, and icons. The icons and symbols usually represent a specific item in that particular science subject. To demonstrate the flow of action or steps of the process, arrow marks are used between these signs and symbols. Proper measurements are also mentioned along with the corresponding symbol. In some cases, a part of the diagram is colored differently to make it highlighted. In other parts of the scientific process flow diagram, the symbols and icons are colored the same.
