Customer management roadmaps can either be very elaborative about the management process, or they can just include the basic parts of the management. In both cases, the customer management roadmap indicates a flow by using arrows or the symbol of a road, which directs the audience in the proper direction of the customer management process. Now, if the roadmap includes only a few steps, then their description can be easily put alongside the headings. Otherwise, in the case of several steps, only the headings of the steps are presented in the customer management roadmaps. To better demonstrate the steps, associated icons and symbols may also be used.
