As shown in the diagram below, Google Drive is a cloud-based storage solution that allows one to save files online and access them anywhere from any smartphone, tablet, or computer. It should be noted here that the files and folders in Google Drive are private by default until you decide to share them. One can share their documents with specific people or make them public for anyone on the internet (who has access to the shared link) to view the shared files.
