This is a genogram for a group project for my Sowk283 class, working with families. Genograms are graphical representations of a person's family, relationships among family members, and medical and mental health histories. It is more detailed than a family tree since it contains more information about the family and each individual. The genogram employs a variety of symbols to depict gender, diagnosis, and relationships among family members. A genogram may be used by a therapist to assist their client in seeing transgenerational patterns or making connections concerning relationships amongst their family.
