The White House Basement and Sub-Basement are located beneath the North Portico. They include, among other things, the White House carpenters' shop, engineers' shop, bowling alley, flower shop,[1] and dentist office. The white house's basement and sub-basement are nothing like your basement. Even if you have a man cave, home office, workshop, rec room, Airbnb rental, or other creative uses for your basement, it is unlikely to be as interesting as the White House basement. Some of the executive branch's most visible rooms are on the main floor of the West Wing. The Oval Office, Roosevelt Room, Press Briefing Room, and Cabinet Room are all available.
