The architecture of the National Gallery is highlighted in this Floor Plan. Over 2,300 works are housed in the National Gallery Collection, including many well-known works such as van Eyck's Arnolfini Portrait, Velázquez's Rokeby Venus, Turner's Fighting Temeraire, and Van Gogh's Sunflowers. The National Gallery Floor Plan also depicts the ground floor, which includes the galleries of prints, drawings, paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, temporary exhibitions, the Garden Café, West Building sales shop, and West Building Lecture Hall. The Museum and Galleries Act of 1992 governs the National Gallery, which has charitable status but is exempt from the need to register with the Charity Commission.
