Legislative Process FlowChart

The legislative process is depicted in this Legislative Process FlowChart. The legislative process begins with introducing a bill in either the Lok Sabha or the Rajya Sabha of Parliament. A bill may be submitted by either a minister or a private member. In the former case, it is referred to as a government bill, while in the latter case, it is referred to as a private member's bill. This Legislative Process Flow Chart also depicts the steps in the Legislative Process. A bill is moved through the legislative process by a long chain of standardized motions that the house must adopt before the law.
