This Metropolitan Area Network PPT combines local networks within a city and is based on high data rate compounds implemented based on fiber and other digital data transmission channels. With the growing number of network communities, wireless local area networks based on the 802.11b standard are being combined into a wireless metropolitan area network comprised of low-cost antenna systems and consumer-grade wireless equipment based on the 802.11a and 802.11b standards.
