The Ministry of Education Singapore is a government ministry in Singapore that is in charge of developing and implementing educational policies. The Ministry of Education is led by the Minister for Education, who is appointed as a member of Singapore's Cabinet. Chan Chun Sing is the current minister. With the expansion of education in Singapore and the implementation of SkillsFuture in 2016, the Ministry of Education Singapore was led by two ministers: one overseeing pre-school, primary, secondary, and junior college education, and another overseeing ITE, polytechnics, universities, and SkillsFuture. In 2018, the Ministry was once again led by a single minister.
