Encanto is a 2021 American production of a musical fantasy animated film. The Walt Disney Animated film is the studio's 60th production. The plot of the musical revolves around a multigenerational Colombian family living in a rural setting who are blessed with magic by a miracle that allows them to help the larger community known as Ecanto. However, the family's allure begins to wane. The plot then follows the protagonist (Mirabel) as she sets out to discover what is going on and how she can save the family's magic on her own.
