This Enterprise Architecture Reference Model is a foundation for a vertical domain or sector. Many parts have their definitions of the reference architecture. Most of these reference architectures include industry-specific business building blocks, business capabilities, and business processes. They may include, for example, common data models, communication standards and exchange formats, and, in some cases, common software building blocks and assets and models that are mostly reusable. A reference architecture is a template frequently based on the generalization of a set of solutions. Based on the harvesting of a group of patterns observed in several successful implementations, these solutions may have been generalized and structured to depict one or more architectural structures.
