This Administration Enterprise architecture is the practice of using enterprise architecture to enable and drive business value. EAM establishes the vision, mission, goals, guidelines, policies, principles, communications, monitoring, and control for enterprise architecture planning - vision, mission, policies, regulations, communications, and other activities that ensure the development and deployment of enterprise architecture in support of business value. A consistent baseline of information about the landscape and an integrated planning process from demand to budget to accomplish the to-be landscape are the fundamental prerequisites for effective EAM. The enterprise architecture function also examines and consolidates complex architecture decisions and migration plans to identify efficiencies and align business and IT priorities.
