This RACI Chart for Construction Project is a responsibility assignment chart that maps out every task, milestone or key decision involved in completing a project and assigns which roles are Responsible for each action item, which personnel is Accountable, and who needs to be Consulted or Informed, as appropriate. The acronym RACI refers to the four roles that stakeholders may have in any project. I have discovered that there is no shared understanding of participant roles and responsibilities, nor is there detailed documentation to support it, in nearly all of these rescue efforts.
