SAFe is a large knowledge base of proven best practices. Product teams also use SAFe to deliver successful software products. The SAFe framework gained traction in the product world in 2011. Dean Leffingwell, the author of Agile Software Requirements and a software industry veteran, originally referred to the SAFe framework as the "Agile Enterprise Big Picture."
