This Interaction Overview Example is one of fourteen Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram types that can depict a control flow with nodes containing interaction diagrams showing how a set of fragments might be initiated in various scenarios. Interaction overview diagrams concentrate on control flow with nodes representing interactions (sd) or interaction use (ref). The other elements of an interaction overview diagram are the same as those of an activity or sequence diagram. The initial, final, decision, merge, fork, and join nodes are examples.
