From November 20 to December 18, 32 top national teams from five different confederations compete for the title of football world champions in this World Cup Groups diagram. The 32 teams for the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be divided into eight groups of four teams each, from Group A to Group H. In the group stage of the competition, the teams in each group will compete in a singleheaded roundrobin format. The top two teams from each of the eight groups will advance to the knockout Round, which starts with the Round of 16.
