The 2022 FIFA World Cup Final will be the final match of FIFAs competition for mens national football teams, the 22nd edition. The final will be played on 18 December 2022, Qatars national day, at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Lusail, Qatar, between the winners of the semifinals. The final will be held at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Lusail, about 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) north of Dohas city center. The stadium was built as part of Qatars World Cup bid and was confirmed as the final venue on July 15, 2020.
