A cityscape also known as an urban landscape is any artistic depiction of a city or urban area, including but not limited to paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs. Its like a landscape, but in an urban setting. The term townscape is synonymous with cityscape, though it carries with it the same connotation of a smaller, less dense urban area and possibly less modern appearance that cityscape does.
