Microsoft Azure's Integration Services is a suite of tools for connecting disparate systems and data. Two of these services are employed in this architecture: Logic Apps for workflow orchestration and API Management for API catalog creation. This architecture should be adequate in simple integration scenarios where synchronous calls to backend services initiate the workflow. This fundamental structure is expanded upon by more complex architectures based on queues and events. The various enterprise backend systems that have been implemented or upon which the business operates are depicted on the right side of the diagram. SaaS systems, other Azure services, and web services that expose REST or SOAP endpoints are all examples of the latter.
