Before You Read: Questions such as "What do you think this book is about?" and "Why did you pick this book?" encourage children to make predictions about the story.
While You Read: Includes prompts like "Stop and think - can you tell me what just happened?" to keep children focused and thinking about the story's events.
After You Read: Questions like "Can you recall the beginning, middle, and end of the story?" help children summarize and reflect on the book.
