Here is a career genogram sample. The importance of education was emphasized in my family. I notice that many individuals in my family have pursued "helping" careers. Creativity and altruism have been modeled for me. I see some strong deviations between generations. It's as if children either followed in their parents' footsteps or went a completely opposite direction. Examining the career choices of my siblings, it's interesting that we all went with very different choices, and only two of us (myself included) initially pursued degrees/careers in the arts. I don't know that I can say my family's career choices led me to my current path, but they have certainly been models for seeking an education and have provided tremendous support on my education/career journey.
