The satellite network diagram shows a communication setup. User devices connect to the internet via satellite technology. In this architecture, end-user devices send data via an uplink to a satellite orbiting the Earth. The satellite then sends this data via a downlink to a ground station on Earth, which is part of the ground network. This ground station, linked to a NOC, manages the satellite link. It directs the data to its destination, usually over the Internet. Satellite communication connects remote or underserved areas. It sends data over long distances without relying on impractical ground-based infrastructure.
