Azure networking is a communication guideline or protocol for connecting several resources via the Internet. As the name suggests, an Azure Network represents a solid network in the cloud, and in the background, it is a software abstraction of a network that overalls multiple Azure infrastructures to provide separation from those resources that fall outside the virtual network.

In most cases, an Azure Network Diagram will have multiple networking services, like Virtual Network (VNet), Virtual WAN, VPN Gateway, Azure Bastion, Peering Service, and more. The Azure Network is used to create a dedicated private cloud-only VNet that allows different cloud-related services.
